The Canadian Bar Association – New Brunswick is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of the Honourable Justice Charles LeBlond of the New Brunswick Court of Appeal.
Justice LeBlond was one of New Brunswick’s most respected jurists. A proud Acadian, he achieved several notable firsts throughout his distinguished career and was known for his deep sense of justice, humility, and quiet wisdom. His thoughtful presence, generosity of spirit, and dedication to public service left an indelible mark on our legal community.
Even as he faced illness, Justice LeBlond continued to serve with courage and resolve, an enduring testament to his character and his commitment to the rule of law.
On behalf of our members, we extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.
Justice LeBlond’s legacy will live on in the legal profession and in the many lives he influenced through his service.
